This program is a free 90-minute presentation designed to assist parents and their teens, who will be getting their driving permit, have their permit, or who have their license and are new to independent driving.

Since Missouri does not require driver education, this program’s goal is to assist parents with identifying risky driving behavior of teens and to inform everyone about the Graduated Driver License (GDL) law. Parents and guardians will learn about the risks that their new teen drivers face and will also be provided with tools to monitor, coach, and support their teen driving so they can reduce the risk of fatalities and injuries of teen drivers by 20 to 40%.
