Join us on Saturday, June 3, from 8:00 am to noon for National Trails Day! National Trails Day® is the country’s largest celebration of trails. Visitors will learn about NPS trails, hiking safety, nutrition, and well-being. You are invited to join us also for two extraordinary tours: the first at 8:00 am is a boundary hike of the birthplace of George Washington Carver, and the second at 10:00 am is a ranger-guided tour of the ¾-a-mile Carver Trail. Explore the park paths and trails today, tomorrow, this weekend, National Trails Day, and every day at the park! Please wear sturdy footwear for this moderate boundary hike and bring a water bottle and insect repellent.
